Some JDBC drivers might have fancy installation wizards, which deploy them to Java Virtual Machine. In this case the installation is easy, the appropriate resources are registered with Java automatically.
However, if the above does not work or is not available, the driver can be easily installed manually. Server documentation should provide guidance on JDBC drivers installation. Below is just one possible approach, tested with Datamata SQL Portal.
The driver itself is usually just a single file with extension "jar", which contains all the functionality required. This "jar" file has to be copied to the appropriate server directory, see links below for your server type:
This concludes the installation procedure. From this point new connections to databases, based on the installed driver, can be configured through Datamata SQL Portal administration interface.
